Senior Pastor of Omega Fire Ministry Apostle Prof. Johnson Suleman also known as the Restoration Apostle has over time become a Prophet to reckon with.
The Apostle is widely known for the annual release of Prophecies as revealed to him by God.
At the beginning of the year 2019, 50 prophecies for the year were released and contained in a manual.
Amongst the prophecies was the arrest of a presidential Aspirant, captured at Prophecy number 21.
It read: A Presidential Aspirant To Be Arrested
The Department of State Services has confirmed the arrest of the presidential candidate of the African Action Congress in the 2019 General Elections, Omoyele Sowore.
The DSS said it was true that its operatives arrested Omoyele in the early hours of Saturday.
Sowore, the convener of #RevolutionNow protests which he intended to hold across the country concurrently on Monday, August 5, allegedly in protest against bad governance, was picked up at his apartment at 1.25am on Saturday.
Addressing a Press conference in Abuja on Sunday, spokesman of the DSS, Mr. Peter Afunanya, said Sowore was taken into custody because “he called for a revolution in Nigeria.”
Afunanya said DSS was “aware of information that Sowore had been in touch with foreign actors to destabilise Nigeria.”
He however did not provide details of Sowore’s detention location, or if he will be taken to court.
While Reacting to Sowore’s arrest, some Nigerians on social media have called for Sowore’s release, while others commended Buhari for arresting him.
Apostle Suleman however has also taken to his twitter handle to advocate for the release of sowore. He made it known that although he condemns the revolution as it is a forceful overthrow of government and not democratic, he calls for the immediate release of Sowore.
I mentioned this as the 21st prophecy for the year..the same man whose website insulted and mocked the prophecy is detained..the govt should release him..the killer herdsmen walk free and you detain a man who is unarmed.wrong.. pic.twitter.com/Qp3npfJCzm
